Gerda

Gerda de Vrij founded the shop with her husband Emile in 1976. After her studies in a craftmanship school in the Netherlands, she did an extra art education in Germany. 
At the Fakhugeschule für gestaltung in Pforzheim, she got an education from one of the best design teachers at the time.

This art education was the start of the typical style that marks Gerda de Vrij’s jewelry. She mastered the art of texture and combines it with her subtle and organic designs. 

She is versatile and skilled in various approaches. She can create not only excellent figurative designs but also more traditional jewelry that elevates the wearer.

Gerda is the heart of the atelier. She shares her knowledge and passion with great love and dedication to all her employees. Her warm approach not only inspires those around her but also encourages creativity and growth within the team, making everyone feel valued and empowered.
