Florence Henry is the daughter of the founders of Gerda de Vrij. From a young age, she developed a passion for arts and crafts, a talent that was nurtured by her parents. She studied visual arts in high school before pursuing sculpture at the academy. Her desire to broaden her creative skills later led her to study photography as well.

Florence’s journey with Gerda de Vrij began in 2009, where she took on a variety of roles, including designing window displays, contributing to other creative aspects of the brand, and managing the administrative side of the business. In 2025, she chose to explore new creative opportunities, though she will always remain closely connected to Gerda de Vrij and its jewelry.
