Barbara

Barbara Henry is the daughter of Gerda and Emile, the founders of Gerda de Vrij. Growing up surrounded by the artistry and craftsmanship of jewelry, she naturally developed a deep passion for the craft.

Barbara pursued her education in jewelry design in Antwerp and graduated with a master in three-dimensional art, equipping her with a solid foundation in both traditional techniques and contemporary approaches.

In 2007, she joined the family business alongside her mother, stepping into a pivotal role that bridges the past and the future of Gerda de Vrij. Barbara manages both the production side of the business and the design process, seamlessly blending her artistic vision with practical execution. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that each piece of jewelry reflects the high standards set by her parents and uphold the legacy of her family.
